Floral Arrangement

Flowers, I love them.

My only problem is being able to arrange them.  For quite a while I had wanted to be a florist, well I still woudln't mind it actually, but as I am useless at arranging a boquet I can't see me being a very good one.  Anyway I have before contacted endless florists asking whether they would consider taking me on but each time I was told I had to have the qualification, which when looked into costs an arm and a leg plus you have to pay for all your equipment on top of that, something I couldn't afford to do.  The idea was put to one side and I continued with life.  Occasiosnally the thought pops bacck into my head but I am still not in a position where I can risk taking that step.  So you can all imagine my joy when I came across this course in my local area.

'Festive Flower Arranging'  It is a 4 week course, two hours once a week for £29 = Bargain.

Of course I signed up straight away, the downside I now have to hold my excitement until November, still I'm sure it will be here before I know it and just in time for Christmas (one of my favourite times of year).

I can't wait to start, and look forward to being able to tell you all about it.

Not sure on the plans for this weekend so watch this space, I'll keep you posted.

  1. I'd love to be able to arrange flowers, tie posies etc as it is I just stuff them in a jug!

  2. Thank you for your comment.

I'm the same, exactly how they come in the package or from the shop, is exactly how they end up in the vase. Fingers crossed I'm hoping this will all soon change :-)

    Gem xx
