My Weekend So Far

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  It looks set to remain a quiet one for me.  I haven't really been up to much today except for catching up in blogland and watching a couple of films.  The Time Traveller's Wife (although I do prefer the book, I still love the film) and You've Got Mail another brilliant film.  I tend to find that when I plan things to do for the weekend, things never go to plan, I am trying the approach of just waiting to see what happens, but how long I can keep that up for I don't know.  I am one who loves to plan things.

I have been buying again, yes again.

I picked up this vase from a shop down the road to James.  £1.49 a bargain, and I thought it would look lovely filled with some pretty pink peonies with the sun flooding through the window, through the vase.

And these wellies I just couldn't resist.   I don't very often wear wellies but I seem to now own quite a few pairs (whoops!)  These had my name written all across them, they are my fave colours, pink and grey and I just loved the design.

So that has been my day today.  What have you been up to?

  1. I am a saddo and live in my wellies, I have even been know to wear my pj's with them.
The vase is a great find and would look lovely with some peonies in I agree.
    I too love that film You've got mail...Em x

  2. I watched Yu've got Mail yesterday too. I had to record and then rewatch the bits I missed cause of the kids!
Then I watched something hubby recorded for me ages ago. Poss called Just like Heaven. Was actually really good and goes to show hubby knows me pretty well. lol
I really really need some wellies. . . but sadly have none. My oldest son on the other hand has a pair here and a pair at Granny's so he doesn't ever forget them and can always go in the garden.
One day i'll get some! Maybe the same day we win the lottery. :o)
