Toy Stories

Growing up we all had that one toy or teddy that went everywhere with us.  The moment it left our side we were beside ourselves in tears, I know you all know what I'm talking about.

For me it was George.  I've no idea exactly when I got him, or even who bought it for me, or how he ended up with the name George.  But I loved him.

I don't think I could ever bring myself to get rid of him.  It just wouldn't feel right somehow.  I'd feel as though I were being disloyal to him, daft as that may sound.

So come on, who or what was your favourite toy / teddy growing up?  I'd love to hear about it.

Love Gem x x x

  1. Mine was Cabbage Patch Kids! My parents never allowed us to have one special toy we became attached to in case we lost it!

    1. To be honest that was really good foresight from your parents, you hear of so many inconsolable kids who have lost their favourite teddy or toy, bless their little cottons.
I never had Cabbage Patch dolls, I remember seeing them around but I was never that interested in them, no idea why. more of a Polly Pocket / My Little Pony & Barbie fan haha, oh the memories x x x
